POSITIVE REVIEWS FOR 'BLOOD, SWEAT AND THE SEA'
As sales of the John Muir biography 'Blood, Sweat and the Sea' steadily increase, Australian and New Zealand boating publications are keenly reviewing the book.
Peter Webster, editor at Australian Boat Mags, recently reviewed the book in great detail, giving its 416 pages a glowing report.
He says, “The book is a good read. Is a history of much more than the Muir family. In some ways, the most interesting, nay, fascinating chapters in the book are those that deal with the anecdotes, the history and business dealings the Muirs have had with a veritable Who’s Who of the Australian boating industry, and unusually, most of the big names of the international boating world, too.”
He also acknowledges the time and effort involved in bringing together so much material and praises the author, Mike Swinson, for his writing.
We're anticipating more reviews from even further afield in the coming months.
