Salacia
In 1962, Muir’s launched Salacia, a Sparkman & Stephens design 41ft racer–cruiser, for Bob Rusk of Sydney.
She was later sold to Arthur Byrne. Salacia was built from Huon pine with a teak deck structure, covered with marine plywood.
Jock sailed to Sydney with the owner as was the case with most of the new yacht builds destined for the Australian mainland.
